Boy does this kit bring back memories!! I was a crafty kid, never without a supply of foam (I loved the way craft foam smelled... is that weird?) embroidery floss for friendship bracelets and that plastic gimp for keychains. Pom-poms and pipe cleaners were a plus. I have absolutely no idea what I'd do with the parts in this kit, but just looking at them makes me feel like a kid again, and that alone makes it worth buying!

I had the floss for friendship bracelets and the plastic gimp, too! And what about colored pony beads?? I had gobs of them! Oh and of course pom poms in every shade and size. Pipe cleaners were my favorite though. I loved twirling them around my fingers. :)
what a cute gift idea for that crafty kid!
I envy your pony beads, Casey! I wasn't allowed to have them because first we had cats who could swallow them, then right after we lost the cats my brother was born, so there was a baby in the house who could swallow them :( I had fun playing with them at friends houses though!!
One of my friends also had that bead kit where you iron the beads to form a flat plastic image. I thought that was the most awesome thing EVER!
I had no idea cats swallow small objects! Good thing to know.
Ooh I had the iron bead kit, too! There was a heart form and something else that I didn't like. (Can't remember what it was)
I always used the heart one, though. I had THE most fun making new hearts with different color schemes. Hee hee!
