Flat wellies - Find it [REALLY] cheaper!

I know that my occasional trips into the K-Mart clothing/shoe section make me the butt of many jokes, but seriously, people. Would you rather spend $34 or $5? They're the same darn thing!

Find it Cheaper {Miss Darling Dress}

Urban Outfitters - $98.00
Modcloth - $79.99

Okay, so $80 still isn't quite a steal (at least not with my bank account balance) but it's a heck of a lot better than $100! Hey, I just realized this is the first time Modcloth was on the cheaper end of Find it Cheaper..

Find it Cheaper

The Hopleaf dress - Modcloth - $62.99
The Plumfield dress - Modcloth- $62.99

This find it cheaper is kind of tricky... it's not really easy to get these dresses at a discount, but the effort is really worthwhile because of the ridiculous amount of money you would save.

I found the dresses available wholesale at Theme Clothing for $23.00 each. At Modcloth they are $63. You need to have an account to view them (just having a wordpress account works) and -- here is the tricky part -- you have to buy 2 smalls, 2 mediums and 1 large. Eek. BUT if you have friends who all love these dresses and fit these sizes you get the dresses 60% off of what Modcloth asks! If you want them desperately & don't have friends who do- you could always leave comments on this post stating what size you'd like, and if we get the right amount of people for each size you could do a collaborative order. I for one think it's worth it for the savings :) Or if you have the ready cash, you could just buy the five dresses & sell the four you don't use on your blog or ebay. You could even make money by just marking it up $5-$10 a dress, and it would still be 50% off of what Modcloth is asking.

FYI though, you might want to check out my previous post on this dress style, and how it isn't meant for the curvy figure...

I promise the next Find it Cheaper will be a lot easier to buy!!

Find it Cheaper {Lace Polka Dot Dress}

I feel like I've been picking on Modcloth a bit lately so I promise the next Find it Cheaper won't include Modcloth unless they have the cheaper item :) I really love them so I feel a little bad about it.

Thanks to Design is Mine I just found Ruche, a store really similar to Modcloth with vintage-inspired new clothing. I might just have a post coming up with some of my favorite items from the shop, because there are too many that I'm dying to share!

Ruche dress - $36.99
Modcloth dress - $49.99

Find it Cheaper {Rainbow sprinkle dress}

I'm about 80% sure that this is the same dress-- but even if it's not, it's awfully close! Fred Flare sells pretty high quality stuff so I think it's safe to say it's not a Modcloth knock-off or anything.

My coat & hat came yesterday-- the hat is to die for, it's a nice cross between the 1920's and the 1960's, my two favorite fashion decades. The coat on the other hand... it has poufy shoulders that made me look like a linebacker. It's packed up and ready to go back in the morning :( The search for a perfect coat continues...

Fred Flare dress - $54
Modcloth dress- $64.99

Find it Cheaper {Denim Dress}

Love that Modcloth dress on the left? It's temporarily sold out, but normally retails for $59.99. However, if you're quick you can catch this exact same dress from Forever 21 in their sale section for only $10.99! But hurry, up, it's in their clearance section!

find it cheaper {plaid tunics}

I do most of my shopping online, and Urban Outfitters is by far, one of my favorite clothing stores. But the price on their Buffalo Tunic was a little too much for me, at $58. (It has since gone on sale, but just humor me..) So I didn't buy it. But while browsing on Forever21 one day last month, I came across the same. exact. tunic. For $19.80!! So I bought that one. In two colors. Then yesterday I had to run into K-Mart for batteries and pool supplies and, lo and behold, there was my $19.80 tunic for $14! It is the same. exact. tunic. Who cares if the label says UO or Big K? It's the same. exact. tunic.

So from now on when I find it cheaper, I'll let you know!
