Driving to work without sunglasses has been a real pain. All of mine are either broken or scratched. So I decided it was time to rebuild my collection of sunglasses with some inexpensive yet chic pairs. While ModCloth had some nice retro-style ones, Forever 21 had an enormous collection of really cool sunglasses.

It seems I've been on hiatus from the internet world for most of this year, but it hasn't been intentional. I've had a crazy and turbulent year but I'm just pleased for the year to be coming to an end. One of the things, I hope to get for the upcoming year is this beautiful Faux Fur Cheetah Coat. Lately, I've been doing this kind of bohemian look, but I think I want to change it up a bit, and go a little 1960ish. Isn't it gorgeous though?!

The gloves are bright purple with the most divine ruffle accent! The lining inside is smooth. You will want to wear (and stare at) these gloves all day long.

Oakland Booty

And you don't even need an L.A. face to go with this Oakland Bootie. These ankle boots are divine. Soft material, a nice big bow, folded cuff and a sturdy but slender heel. My old black ankle boots, which I've had for 7+ years, are falling apart so I was long overdue for a new pair. What an upgrade this was. And how! Price-wise, these are a good deal for a pair of nice ankle boots. If you are a DSW Rewards member, these boots are even cheaper with a rewards certificate or coupon. And if you buy them online, they are eligible for free shipping. Huzzah!

Cloche Hat Love #2

Cloche hats are timeless and we vintage-style-loving gals are very lucky because these hats are popping up everywhere this season. My collection has already grown to about 10 and I would still buy more if I had the room and the money. Cloche hats are a great Fall/Winter accessory. They keep your head warm, they can complement your outfit and they are very eye-catching. And although the cloche-hat-wearing ladies of the 1920s and 1930s wore their cloches with short hair, I think these hats complement long hair too. The hat gives your head a very sleek uniform shape and out from the bottom comes this luscious wave of hair. Tres magnifique! I was sorting through my bookmarks today, and came across this site I had favorited over a year ago and totally forgotten about! eShakti has an amazing selection of adorable dresses -- I've picked my six favorites (which is hard to do when they have dozens worthy of inclusion in my top six!) but I highly suggest checking the site out for yourself, you might just find the most perfect dress in the universe (it does exist, and it is probably on this website.)

perfect staple dress

This is my idea of the perfect staple dress. It has the most adorable sweetheart neckline, and a figure flattering shape that emphasizes your waist and helps hide your hips. (At least, this is flattering for me..)

And it's incredibly versatile. Worn alone with some pearls, an updo and a little clutch this would be an amazing dress to wear for a night out. But add a cardigan, slouchy tote and flats and it works perfectly for casual wear too! And for $26, how can you pass it up?!
